Shipping & Returns

We want to ensure that the item(s) you order fits your furkid, and that we're both not throwing money at the USPS.
Shipping: All products are sent via USPS Priority. All items are shipped based on weight, with rates coming straight from the USPS website, making shipping as affordable as possible. We ship International, and there are several methods you can choose for shipping (First Class, Priority and Express.) For customers outside of the US, upon checkout, you might find that you cannot check out in PayPal as a guest (such as those in Holland.) You will find that you have to open a PayPal account in order to pay, as per your country's requirements. International customers that have an issue with PayPal can call PayPal's International help number at 402-935-2050. Customers in countries such as Italy will want to choose Express Shipping, due to the tight restrictions on homemade items coming into your country. Should you choose First Class or Priority shipping, we cannot be held responsible if your items are confiscated.
Sales Tax: All items shipped to a California address or purchased by a California resident are subject by law to California sales tax of 7.75%.
Returns/Exchanges: We offer exchanges only. This is why it is important to carefully measure your pet before ordering. You must contact us for approval before returning an item. Returns sent to us without approval will be returned. To exchange an item, you must email us within 5 business days requesting an exchange. In the email please include your name, order number and what you would like to exchange it for (i.e., item, size, etc.) We will contact you within 2 business days with an exchange acceptance.
Each exchange must be returned new and unused within 15 days of receipt. If we feel that an item returned is not unused, we will return it to the customer. Returns/exchanges must be sent back to us using an insured method such as USPS Priority, FedEx or UPS with a tracking number. We prefer that you email us with the tracking number, so we have it on file. The customer is responsible for original and return shipping charges on all returns and exchanges. Exchanges will be processed once original item has been received.
Please make sure to check sizing information before ordering, as we have a one time exchange policy. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
Ordering information: Credit card payments are processed through PayPal, a secure online gateway. You do not have to have a PayPal account to pay someone using PayPal, except as noted above for some International customers.
We can also accept cashier’s checks and personal checks. In the event you use a personal check or cashier’s check, checks should be made out to Julee Ellison.
Checks made out to Pawsome Dogz will be returned. Payment by check will delay your order, as your order will not be processed until 10 days after the check has been deposited, and you will receive an email once your check has cleared and we are making your vest(s).
Current lead time on all orders is 4 weeks. I will email you and let you know of the order status, depending on the number of orders ahead of yours. I always do my best to get orders out as quick as possible, but depending on the number of orders in the queue ahead of yours, the wait time could be up to 4 weeks.
We do not accept shiny buttons, trinkets, imported coffees or children as payment ... although we DO like kids. We hope you understand!
